Public Speaking Hypnotherapy

Whether it’s a work presentation, a social speech, or even introducing yourself in a group, public speaking can feel terrifying.
The shaking hands. The dry mouth. The racing heart. For some, it’s the fear of being judged. For others, it’s the pressure to perform perfectly. Whatever the trigger, public speaking anxiety can hold you back from opportunities you know you’re capable of handling.

Hypnotherapy for public speaking helps you move past those subconscious fears and speak with more clarity, calm, and confidence.
You don’t need to “fake it till you make it.” With the right internal shift, confidence becomes your natural state.

Using RTT® hypnotherapy, we’ll uncover the root of your fear—then rewire your mind to feel safer, stronger, and more self-assured in the spotlight.

Why Public Speaking Feels So Unsafe

The fear of public speaking often has nothing to do with speaking itself, it’s what your subconscious associates it with: rejection, humiliation, failure.

Your mind might be replaying a moment from years ago where you froze, forgot your words, or felt judged and it’s doing everything it can to protect you from repeating that experience.

RTT for public speaking anxiety works by calming the overactive fear response and helping you build a new, empowered association with speaking.
You begin to see it not as a threat, but as an opportunity to express yourself with ease.

Are these feelings familiar?

  • Panic at the thought of speaking in meetings or presentations
  • Rehearsing every sentence in your head beforehand
  • Shaky voice, sweaty palms, or blanking out under pressure
  • Avoiding roles or events that involve public speaking
  • Feeling like people will judge, criticise or laugh at you
  • Fear of “messing up” or forgetting what to say
  • Self-doubt, imposter syndrome or past speaking trauma
About me

Change your story, change your life — fast and for good.

Hi, I’m Waqar. I’m a hypnotherapist and coach based in Harrow, specialising in RTT® (Rapid Transformational Therapy). I help people stop letting old fears, doubts, and habits run their lives. Whether it’s anxiety, low confidence, or patterns you don’t even realise are holding you back, I help you find them, challenge them, and shift them. This isn’t about endlessly analysing or repeating empty affirmations. It’s about uncovering the real stories beneath the surface and changing what’s driving you, because until that shifts, nothing on the outside will.

The result? You feel clearer, stronger, and more in control, not because you’ve “fixed” yourself, but because you’ve taken charge of what really matters.

  • Sessions are shaped around you and your individual needs
  • I use a mix of therapeutic techniques tailored to your goals
  • Noticeable, lasting change often within just 1–3 sessions

RTT® Hypnotherapy to Overcome Speaking Anxiety

RTT® (Rapid Transformational Therapy) targets the root of your fear, not just the symptoms.

Instead of pushing through nerves, RTT works with the subconscious mind to shift the beliefs, memories, and emotional responses that are fuelling your anxiety.

In a deeply relaxed state, we identify where the fear started, often in school, childhood or a moment of embarrassment—and reframe that experience. We then install new beliefs and feelings that support calm, clarity and confidence when speaking in front of others.

After a session, many clients find themselves naturally speaking up more, feeling calmer on stage, and even enjoying the chance to share their voice.

Signs Public Speaking Anxiety Is Affecting You

  • Avoiding situations where you may have to speak
  • Strong physical reactions when presenting or performing
  • Over-preparing or mentally rehearsing every word
  • Feeling small, exposed, or incapable in front of a group
  • Negative internal dialogue or harsh self-criticism
  • Career or social opportunities missed due to fear
  • Flashbacks of past speaking situations that didn’t go well

Speak with Confidence – From the Inside Out

Hypnotherapy for public speaking doesn’t just mask the fear, it helps you remove it at its source.

Using RTT®, we retrain your mind to associate public speaking with calm, competence and connection—not panic or pressure.

I’ll guide you through a safe, focused hypnosis process to identify and release the core beliefs causing your fear. If you’re ready to speak with ease, own your space, and stop hiding your voice, RTT hypnotherapy for public speaking anxiety could be your next step.

Real feedback from our recent customers

I wasn’t totally sure hypnotherapy was for me. I’d tried loads of things for anxiety and nothing really helped long-term. But after the first session, something just shifted. I still get the odd wobble, but that constant heavy feeling isn’t there anymore.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Question's

Understanding starts here, answers to your most common questions.

RTT® is a transformative therapeutic approach designed to create rapid and lasting change. It combines various therapeutic techniques to identify, understand, and reframe limiting beliefs and thought patterns.

Hypnotherapy is carried out under hypnosis, and it can cover a wide range of practices.

Through hypnosis, the therapist gains access to the subconscious mind and then, using suggestion and convincers, the therapist aims to make long-lasting change. Typically, this can take between 6-10 sessions.

RTT® is different from standard hypnotherapy because it uses hypnosis to find the root cause of the client’s issue. Once clients understand how and when negative beliefs and behaviors were formed, they feel empowered to make real change. This awareness and knowledge means that change can happen more quickly than with standard hypnotherapy, as the client does not need convincing that change is possible – they know it. It’s the ultimate empowering experience

We know thoughts shape our reality, but let’s dive deeper. The secret lies in our subconscious. When thoughts pop up, neurotransmitters, those messengers in our bodies, start reactions before thoughts turn into feelings and perceptions.

These feelings can swing positive or negative, revealing the science behind the power of our thoughts. Even though we might downplay our inner chatter as “little voices,” they’re a potent force in our minds.

Positive neuroplasticity lets the mind reshape the brain. With mindfulness, clarity, and the right tools from a Rapid Transformational Therapist, cells become a breeding ground for change.

We can make the changes we crave in our minds and see them reflected in our lives. It’s about replacing limiting beliefs with positive ones, challenging those sneaky subconscious thoughts that can mess with our mental health and confidence.

The results kick in fast and stick around, especially when paired with hypnotherapy to tweak habits and spot triggers.
